About the event

Students are to select ONE kata to perform 100 times.  Due to the Covid restrictions we are going to limit class size in the same manner of our regular classes.  With that in mind, we will schedule the sessions after students have RSVP'd to participate. Session times will be announced and available shortly after the RSVP date and students can book their session.  Participants will recieve a certificate of participation from One Strike and the participation certificate from the organization.

More details will follow once we have the number of students participating.

From challenge okinawa:

The 100 Karate Kata Challenge teeshirt are available in their online store! Kids sizes and hoodies will also be available in the new 100 Kata design.

The next 100 Kata Challenge event will be on October 25th 2020 – “100 Kata for Karate Day”

The 100 Kata Challenge event is an ideal opportunity for experienced practitioners and those with an interest in taking up traditional karate and kobudo practice to watch and try out kata practice. There is simply no better way to start learning your first kata than doing 100 repetitions of that kata!  Choose a karate kata (preferably a karate form based on an Okinawan style) and complete 100 repetitions.
